Four onions equals a kilogram - the most delicious and largest onion Hercules

How long can Hercules onions be stored, and what is their yield? I bought seeds, the store said that the bulbs would be large. I want to sow next year to breed. Is this variety suitable for growing for winter storage? And how long does it take from planting to harvest in order to at least roughly navigate?

  • high productivity;
  • large fruits;
  • mild taste;
  • drought resistance;
  • immunity to major diseases;
  • long shelf life.

In addition, it is worth highlighting one more nuance regarding reproduction. If most hybrids do not set seeds, Hercules has them. This makes it possible to collect your own planting material. This is important, given the high cost of Dutch varieties. The only negative is that no one guarantees that varietal qualities will be preserved. The bulbs may be smaller in size and taste worse.
