Scheme of a flower garden blooming all summer

I have long dreamed of arranging a really beautiful flower bed in a country house. But I don't want to spend a lot of time on leaving. It would be great to arrange everything so that the flowers will delight the whole family from May to September. Is it possible? If so, tell me some flower garden schemes and flower bed DIY blooming all summer, please!

The task is quite difficult. You need to be a fairly experienced florist to arrange a flower bed that can bloom for four to five months without additional replanting of new plants. However, this is also possible. Moreover, you can implement your plan in different ways - use one long-flowering plant or several varieties, each of which blooms for a month or two.

Beautiful long-lasting flower bed

The main thing here is to choose the right schemes of flower beds and flower beds that are blooming all summer with hand-made flowers and choose the right flowers.

Choosing a shape and size

You should start by choosing a size. It depends primarily on the size of your site, as well as how much effort you are willing to spend on caring for the flower bed. Of course, a large flower bed looks very nice. But do not forget - it will have to be watered and weeded to remove weeds. In addition, due to the large size, care is more difficult. Sometimes the best solution is to arrange two or three medium beds, rather than one large one.

The form depends solely on your wishes. It can be a standard square, trapezoid, circle, oval or heart, cross, or something else. Of course, the more complex the shape, the more labor will have to be invested in the flower bed.

In the center of the new flower bed, flowers with the longest stems should be planted, closer to the edges - with medium ones, and creeping ones can be allowed around the perimeter. Then in a few months you will see the flower bed in all its glory.

Choice of colors

It is equally important to choose the right flowers. The simplest solution is to plant plants in the flowerbed that bloom during the warm season. An excellent choice would be a night violet, iberis, dwarf viola, nemophila and others.

You can also successfully combine plants that bloom in different months:

  • May to June: daffodil, tulip, crocus;
  • June to July: iris, carnation, cornflowers, peony;
  • July to August: bell, petunia, chamomile, marigolds;
  • August to September: aster, sedum, chrysanthemum.
