Lutrasil varieties by density
Before using lutrasil, you need to clarify the density of the covering material, because its features and application depend on this.
Depending on the density, lutrasil is divided into 4 varieties:
- 17 g / sq. m;
- 30 g / sq. m;
- 42 g / sq. m;
- 60 g / sq. m.

Lutrasil 17 g / sq. m

Lutrasil 30 g / sq. m
30 g / sq. m is a fairly dense covering material that has a wide range of applications. It can withstand frosts down to -6 ° C, thanks to which it can protect planted plants from recurrent frosts.
When using lutrasil, you can reliably cover plantings from:
- birds and insects;
- rain;
- hail;
- strong overheating in the summer.
Also non-woven fabric with a density of 30 g / sq. m can be used for arranging small greenhouses on a personal plot.
A covering material with such a density is equally effective when used for vegetable crops as well as fruit trees and berry bushes.
Lutrasil 42 g / sq.m
Lutrasil with a density of 42 g / sq. m is characterized by softness and at the same time density. By its structure, the material imitates a snow cover, warming the soil and allowing air to pass through, so it can be used to shelter plants both in early spring and late autumn.
Non-woven material can be used to equip greenhouses. Due to its moisture and air permeable qualities, lutrasil creates an optimal microclimate in the greenhouse, favorable for active plant growth and does not contribute to the accumulation of condensation.
Lutrasil 60 g / sq.m
The densest, strongest and thickest material intended for arranging greenhouses, as well as mulching the beds... It contains carbon black, which gives lutrasil its black tint, flexibility, elasticity, and the ability to transmit sunlight.
