It quickly penetrates the leaves of weeds, causing chlorosis spots, spreads through the tissues and accumulates at growth points. As a result, cell membranes cease to form in them, which leads to complete death. The effect of the herbicide treatment is noticeable within a day, and after 10 days the weeds die completely. At the same time, thanks to the antidote, the active substance that has fallen on cultural crops is converted into neutral metabolites. Therefore, the herbicide has no negative effect on them.
