To do this, put them in a cloth bag, dip it in water so that it gets wet well, and leave it on a saucer for a day. You can pour the seeds onto a damp sponge or cheesecloth.
Dry the seeds before sowing so that they do not stick together during planting.
What soil is suitable for seedlings
If there is no way to buy a universal substrate, you can take regular garden soil and mix it with agroperlite. Just don't forget to disinfect the soil, because it can contain pest larvae and painful spores.

- spill well with boiling water;
- pour a solution of potassium permanganate.

Do not use too deep dishes - the seedlings will still need to be dived. Just scatter the seeds over the moist soil. It is not worth covering the top with a substrate, if you overdo it, it will be difficult for the sprouts to hatch, and many may never come up. And so that the crops do not dry out, just cover them with a thin layer of fine sawdust.
Now you need to create greenhouse conditions for germination. Put on a film or cover, if it's a tray, so that there is a constant microclimate inside.
