What to plant in a flowerbed near the house?
It's always interesting to create something new, and even more so to create an individual design of your site. In the process of choosing what to plant in a flowerbed near the house, they are guided by two principles:

- along the edges of the flower bed - low.

Perennials in the flowerbed

And from June they bloom in a varied range, while blooming for a long time, daylilies, delphinium, cornflowers.
Peonies will also bloom in early summer. It is better to plant them in the background of flower beds, and in front of them are smaller plants that will look favorably against the background of lush green peony bushes.
Choosing annual plants
Annual plants require more attention and care. After all, you need to grow them or buy seedlings every year. They grow faster, bloom earlier and bloom longer than perennials. In addition, they will allow you to design the flower bed in different ways every year. And some plants of this species reproduce by self-seeding.
The most unpretentious annuals - marigold, they absolutely do not require maintenance, have a persistent smell, color from yellow to burgundy, and will bloom until autumn. They can be sown between tulips.
If a dry hot summer is foreseen, it is better to plant zinnias. These flowers do not require watering and will decorate the flower bed with colorful flowers.
Climbing plants and decorative flowers in the flowerbed
Sweet peas with decorative red beans will also be good on a flower bed, especially if there is an opportunity to create a support for them for weaving. Also decorate the flower garden nasturtium, flax of different shades, purslane.
Against the background of flowering plants, ornamental greenery with openwork or brightly colored leaves will look good, which will decorate the flower bed in between flowering.
