Fungicide Delan: instructions for use for peach
In modern gardening, you cannot do without the use of fungicides, because harmful fungi can leave a zealous owner without a crop or significantly spoil it. Especially it concerns peach - a tree with character that requires increased attention when growing. This fruit tree is loved not only by people, but also by various infections.
Among the variety of preparations, the Delan fungicide has proven itself well, having a complex effect in the fight against fungal diseases of fruit trees, as well as grapes.
Characteristics of the drug
Delan is a granule that dissolves completely and quickly in water. The preparation contains the active ingredient dithianon. In an aqueous solution, it retains its effect, but is destroyed in an acidic environment.
The drug is used:
- to prevent the occurrence of fungal infections;
- for the treatment of diseases.
Fungicide Delan cannot be applied to the soil, they are only supposed to spray trees and shrubs.
Features of the drug use
For maximum effect, the fungicide must be applied even before the onset of diseases - when there is a danger of infection of the tree. In the case of the peach, Delan helps fight diseases such as curly leaves, scab and clotterosporium disease.
The advantages of the drug are its action, namely:
- After spraying, a protective film is created on the tree, which does not break during the rain for about a month, and protects the crops from wind-blown spores.
- The drug "stops" the fungus in the affected area and prevents it from spreading.
- Fungal spores are completely destroyed in several treatments.
- The solution penetrates the bark and increases the immunity of crops to possible diseases.
- Delan is not “addictive” and is well tolerated by fruit trees, even with frequent processing.
Fungicide Delan is absolutely harmless to humans and insects.
Peach processing by Delan
According to the instructions for use of the Delan fungicide, the first peach treatment should be carried out in the spring for preventive purposes. To do this, dissolve 14 g of the drug in 10 liters of water. On average, one tree will require about 3 liters of ready-made solution. It must be sprayed evenly, and this must be done in dry weather.
The prepared solution cannot be stored.
Re-processing is allowed no earlier than 2 weeks, with the exception of heavy rainfall after spraying. In this case, you can repeat the procedure in a week. In total, you will need to do 3 treatments, and the last one - 20 days before harvest.
