The solution inhibits the activity of pathogenic microbes that destroy plants from the inside. Gardeners use potassium permanganate to disinfect seeds. To do this, prepare a mixture of maroon color and lower the planting material there for 30 minutes. After the procedure, it is thoroughly washed with clean water.
A similar treatment with a manganese solution is carried out for the bulbs and tubers of flower plants, from which they plan to obtain seeds or cuttings.
The concentrated liquid is used to disinfect pots and containers. Plastic containers are thoroughly washed, and wooden boxes are soaked for 2-3 hours.
