How to prepare cedar tincture: different cooking options

Cedar tincture: recipe number 1

What products are needed to prepare this tincture:

  • 1 liter of moonshine (45%);
  • 40 g nuts;
  • 4 g orange peel;
  • 40 g black currant;
  • 1 g vanillin;
  • 2 tbsp. l. sugar without a slide.

How to cook:

  1. Nuts are poured with boiling water for washing, this procedure must be repeated several times.
  2. In a jar for cooking, nuts are poured with moonshine.
  3. Zest and black currant, granulated sugar and vanillin are added to the mixture.
  4. This mixture is infused for 2 weeks in a dark place at room temperature.
  5. The mixture is filtered with double gauze.
  6. The solution is poured into a glass bottle for storage.

When picking nuts, tree sap could remain on them. To get rid of this resin, which leaves a residue in the tincture, you need to scald the nuts.

Since the resin layer is difficult to remove, scalding the nuts should be carried out until they are completely clean. Scalding with boiling water does not affect the quality of the product.

What products are needed:

  • 80 g of nuts;
  • 1 carnation bud;
  • 55 g sugar;
  • 1 liter of moonshine.

How to cook:

  1. All ingredients are mixed in one jar.
  2. The mixture is stirred until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. The jar is closed and put away in a dark place at room temperature. The infusion period is 10-14 days.
  4. Then the solution must be filtered twice.
  5. For storage, cedar tincture is poured into a glass bottle, preferably dark glass.

Recipe number 3

What products are needed:

  • 250 g of nuts;
  • 45% moonshine - 3 liters.

How to cook:

  1. The nuts are scalded and washed several times.
  2. In a jar, nuts are mixed with moonshine.
  3. The mixture is removed for infusion within 10 days.
  4. Then it must be filtered through gauze or cloth.
  5. Store the tincture in a dark place. You need to save it in a closed dark glass container.

When preparing tinctures using different recipes, the result is different in taste, saturation and color. The more nut there is in the recipe, the darker the tincture.
