The height of the box can be made different, but not less than 20 cm. The higher the box, the more material is needed to fill it. I prefer to do this as follows: I remove the first fertile layer 15-20 cm deep. I install a box with a small depression around the perimeter (up to 5 cm). I fill it with small twigs, leaves, hay, manure, more leaves and grass on top, and the last layer consists of dug soil mixed with humus. I still spill a warm litter with Baikal EM.
In the spring, what would you recommend to fill the garden?
If there is a garden, small branches can be used after spring pruning. Grind the vine, chrysanthemum trimmings, shrubs mixed with humus or manure. Sawdust works well.
