Imazethapir herbicide will help get rid of weeds forever
One of the most effective drugs for the destruction of unwanted vegetation is the herbicide imazethapyr. Contact-systemic, it acts immediately on the root system and on the aerial part of plants. The drug first inhibits development, and then completely eliminates not only annoying herbaceous weeds, but also woody shrubs. At the same time, for a long time after processing, it protects the site from the appearance of new specimens.
What is imazethapir
Imazethapir is not a separate drug, but an active ingredient that is part of many pesticides and herbicides. Outwardly, it looks like white crystals with a vinegar smell. Crystals dissolve in organic solvents (water), but are destroyed in an acidic environment and under the influence of light.
Imazethapyr is produced in the form of ready-made water-dispersion solutions. There are many pesticides on the market based on this substance, for example:

Herbicide imazethapyr - features and area of application
Preparations based on imazethapyr are used for spraying plant weeds and unwanted shrub and woody vegetation. The herbicide accumulates in roots, shoots, branches, leaves and soil. At first, weed growth slows down, and then it stops and crops die. At the same time, imazethapyr does not affect photosynthesis, and the foliage remains green for a long time. After treatment, the first symptoms appear on herbs after 2 weeks, and on shrubs after 3 weeks. Complete death occurs within 5 weeks.
The active ingredient of herbicides penetrates into the topsoil and prevents new plants from germinating. Moreover, it can be in the ground for up to 2 years.
Imazethapyr-based herbicides have a continuous effect and are used only for the treatment of non-agricultural areas. They are used to remove vegetation, bushes and soft wood species on sports grounds, airfields, and railway embankments. It is also possible to treat the area in order to prepare for planting forest crops when the herbicide expires. Pesticides and herbicides based on imazethapyr belong to the third class of hazard to humans and bees.
Instructions for use depend on which drug is used. On average, the herbicide consumption rate is from 100 to 300 l / ha. The working solution can be stored for no more than 6 hours. It can also be combined in tank mixtures with other drugs, except for those with an acidic environment.
