It contains many vitamins and minerals that are useful and necessary for our body, including:

  • vitamins of groups A, E, B, PP;
  • iron;
  • potassium;
  • phosphorus;
  • calcium;
  • magnesium;
  • acids (folic, citric, oxalic, malic);
  • starch;
  • flavonoids and other beneficial substances.

100 g of buckwheat contains: up to 15% protein, 57% carbohydrates and just a little more than 3% fat, but dietary fiber is 11.3%. The calorie content of cereals (kernels) is as much as 308 kcal, but all substances are absorbed completely and quickly.

  • improves the emotional state;
  • removes cholesterol;
  • accelerates metabolism and quickly removes fluid from the body;
  • serves as the prevention of colds;
  • strengthens and cleanses blood vessels;
  • improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and liver and promotes their cleansing;
  • increases blood clotting.

However, do not get carried away with buckwheat porridge and eat it constantly in the presence of gastritis and impaired metabolism. Despite the beneficial properties of buckwheat, a mono-diet based on it should not last more than 5 days.
