Choosing popular varieties of irises for the site
Today there is a wide choice irises... Each grower can choose plants to his taste, because among them there are both proud and tall irises, and dwarf species with no less beautiful flowers. Bearded irises are especially popular - their unusual inflorescences can be painted in almost all colors of the rainbow, and a charming beard gives the flowers a special charm.
We suggest that you familiarize yourself with some types of irises that can often be found in flower beds, namely bearded irises:

- Baccarat.
In addition, Sinilga's xiphoid iris is no less beautiful. It grows up to 87 cm in height and forms up to 17 stems on one bush. Flowering begins in the second half of summer and lasts 2-2.5 weeks. Inflorescences are large, wide petals are blue and have white stripes.
The Sinilga variety is resistant to diseases and winters well.
Iris Bountiful Harvest (Bountiful Harvest)
An early remontant variety, it grows more than 80 cm in height, although there are specimens up to 1 m in height. The first flowering occurs in June, and the second at the end of summer. On one peduncle, up to 6 large flowers, about 30 cm in size, are tied. The upper petals are colored deep blue and have thin white stripes - "splashes" in the center, and the lower petals, on the contrary, are white with a blue border. The beard itself is blue.
Iris War Chief (War Chief)
This iris is distinguished by its high (94 cm) and strong peduncles, on which there can be up to 4 branches and more than 10 buds. Both the upper and lower petals are painted in a rich red-brown color, which becomes even darker along the edge of the petals. Against such a background, a yellow beard stands out as a bright spot. The flowers are corrugated, and their petals bend intricately.
Iris Baccarat
The height of this plant does not exceed 70 cm. The flowers are deep burgundy with a yellow beard. The edges of the crimped petals are satin and have a darker shade.
Iris Stepping Out
Very tall Germanic iris with powerful peduncles up to 110 cm high. Blooms in late May in large white flowers with a lilac edging. The beard is a standard yellow color, however, on the edge (on the petal itself) - light lilac. The peduncle retains its decorative appearance for up to 2 weeks, since the buds bloom alternately, one after another.
Differs in resistance to diseases and low temperatures.
Pink Taffeta
A bush up to 1 m high in early summer blooms with delicate pink inflorescences with an orange-carrot beard and slightly wavy petals.
The variety has high winter hardiness.
