The use of phosphorus-potassium fertilizers for fertilizing flowers

Can you please tell me how to properly apply phosphorus-potassium fertilizers for flowers? My plants do not want to bloom at all, and if they lay inflorescences, then there are very few of them and it happens that half of them crumble. I read that the flowers in this case need feeding with preparations containing phosphorus and potassium.

fertilizing flowers When growing flowers complex mineral fertilizers play an important role in their development, especially preparations containing phosphorus and potassium. Thanks to potassium, chlorophyll values increase, and the decorative appearance of plants is maintained. Phosphorus is responsible for flowering, making it more lush, abundant and long lasting, in addition, it accelerates the overall growth of flowers. In combination, these two microelements actively nourish flower plantations, stimulate flowering, prevent bud fall, and also increase seed germination.

Popular preparations for feeding flowers based on phosphorus and potassium

Phosphate-potassium fertilizers are used as the main fertilizer for flowers. Dosages and how they are used depend on the specific type of drug. Some of the most popular complex fertilizers based on potassium and phosphorus include:

  • fertilizer "AVA";
  • karboammofosk;
  • liquid fertilizer with the effect of Atlante fungicide.

fertilizer agrecol

Separately, it should be noted the autumn granular fertilizer Agrekol. It contains 13% phosphorus and 27% potassium, as well as magnesium, and does not contain nitrogen at all. The drug is used for autumn feeding perennial garden flowers with the aim of general strengthening of plants and preparing them for the winter period. In August, the granules must be scattered around the perennials and dug up, mixing them with the soil. Then water the flowers abundantly.

  • spill the soil before sowing with a prepared solution;
  • mix the drug with seeds and sow in the holes;
  • soak the seeds in solution before sowing.

Carboammofoska

In addition to phosphorus and potassium, it also contains nitrogen. Can be applied before planting flowers on all types of soil.

Atlante drug

fertilizer atlante

Concentrated aqueous phosphorus-potassium solution is used for foliar dressing of flowers (for 1 liter of water - 2.5 ml of the drug).

Phosphate-potassium fertilizer Atlante cannot be used with preparations containing copper and mineral oils.

Due to the fungicidal effect after fertilizing Atlanta plants, they not only develop more actively and bloom, but also become more resistant to fungal diseases and adverse weather conditions.
