Courage F 1 is the pride of our Russian breeders, although the variety is relatively young, it is not yet 20 years old. Refers to parthenocarpic species - hybrids that do not need pollination. This means the ability to form an ovary regardless of the presence of not only bees, but also the weather. That makes it possible to grow the variety in any conditions - in the beds, in the greenhouse. Courage will even bear fruit as a potted crop and will provide you with fresh vegetables in winter.

The bush itself is medium-sized, it does not branch too much. But it is indeterminate - its main stem grows all summer. At this rate, by August, its length can reach almost 4 m. The root system of plants is well developed, and by 1 sq. m. up to 3 bushes can grow freely.

The variety can be called super early. From the emergence of shoots to the ripening of the first fruits, only 35 days pass. Flowering in the bouquet-type Courage - in the axils of the leaves and nodes of the stems, bundles of ovary are formed. One plant can ripen up to 3 dozen cucumbers at a time.

According to summer residents, it is these "prickly" cucumbers that are ideal for harvesting. With regard to Courage, this is true, the main thing is to remove the cucumbers on time and not let them outgrow. They have a juicy, tender pulp, crunchy and not bitter, with a small core and a few small seeds. Moreover, after removal, the fruits can still lie quietly for up to 10 days, without losing their taste.
