The homeland of the variety is Ukraine, and a Zaporozhye breeder bred it. His goal was to create an early unpretentious hybrid with excellent taste - and the scientist succeeded. From one of his parents, the Gift of Zaporozhye grape, Furshetny received a powerful, vigorous and not demanding bush. And from Kuban, the second parent, the hybrid got large-fruited and blue berries.

When grown in warm southern regions, the variety is considered early summer. In cooler regions, the crop ripens a little longer, and there the hybrid will be medium early. In general, the bunches fully ripen 110 days from the beginning of flowering. The crop is ready for harvest in mid-August.

Plant characteristic

Furshetny bushes are distinguished by their vigorous growth and powerful root system. During the season, they give more than 10 shoots each, which branch strongly. At the same time, all the young growth has time to ripen before frost, which is important. The vine is densely covered with large dark green leaves.

The hybrid is moderately resistant to disease. The frost resistance of grapes is also at an average level, minus 22 ° C. But the berries are uniform, without peas, do not crack from excess moisture in a rainy summer. And the wasps do not particularly like them.

Fruiting

The hybrid has a high yield. Already at the age of 3 years, the bush can produce up to 20 kg of grapes. Cylindrical clusters weigh an average of 800 g, but there have been cases when their weight reached 2 kg. Large berries have an oblong shape, at first they are red-purple, but as they ripen, they turn dark blue. The average weight of each grape is about 12 g, there are also berries weighing 20 g. The pulp is very juicy and fleshy, with a subtle sourness and aftertaste of prunes. The dense skin holds its shape well, making the grapes easy to transport.
