The drug, together with drinking water, should be given in the following dosage:
- in the treatment of coccidiosis - 415 g of medication per 505 liters of water or 255 mg per liter of water for 7 days;
- for prevention - 415 g of medicine per 505 liters of water or 255 mg per liter of water.
Instructions for the use of Amprolium for chickens prescribe to give a remedy for the prevention of coccidiosis only to those individuals whose age does not exceed 16 weeks. Also, the drug is not prescribed to chickens younger than 3 days old.
Application of the product by broilers
Amprolium is also allowed to be given either with food or water.

The product is given along with the feed according to the following established scheme:
- in the treatment of coccidiosis - 810 g per 1 ton of feed mixture, which is equivalent to 130 mg per 1 kg of feed (the drug is given for 8-12 days);
- for preventive purposes - 310 g per ton of mixture or 140 mg per 1 kg of feed.
Instructions for the use of Amprolium for turkeys and goslings prescribes to give the medication along with water according to the following scheme:
- during therapy - 410 g of medication per 505 l of water or 235 mg per 1 l of water for 7 days;
- for prophylaxis - 335 g of medicine per 505 liters of water or 225 mg per 1 liter of water.
The tool is allowed to be taken only by turkeys and goslings aged from 3 days to 4 months.
Taking medication in rabbits
Instructions for the use of Amprolium for rabbits provide for other dosages. If the drug is used to prevent parasitic diseases, then it is necessary to take 0.5 g of the product per liter of water or a kilogram of feed mixture. Prophylactic treatment should last three weeks.
If the medication is used to treat rabbits, then it is necessary to add 1 g of medicinal powder per liter of water or kilogram of feed.
