Fragrant peach compote with seeds for the winter

fragrant peach compote Peach compote is one of the most fragrant winter preserves. This is exactly the case when the fruit gives off all its aroma during the infusion. The taste of the drink is also worth mentioning - it turns out to be very sweet and rich.

So, you can make peach compote using:

  • double fill method;
  • sterilization method.

First of all, you need to prepare the fruit. You should not just wash the peaches, but remove the peel from them, because it is covered with small villi and then eating the fruit will not be very pleasant. In addition, the skin can cloud the drink.

To easily peel off the peels, pour boiling water over the peaches for 30 seconds, and then dip them in cold water.

Peach drink with sugar by pouring method

For a three-liter bottle, you need about 12 peaches... It is not worth putting on a full can of fruit, then the drink turns out to be very cloying and it will need to be additionally diluted. However, if glass containers are in short supply, you can do this.

Banks before laying peaches must be sterilized for 15 minutes.

After the peeled fruits have filled the container to half of its volume, they should be steamed. To do this, pour boiling water over a jar of peaches to the very top and cover with a lid. Wrap with a warm towel or blanket and let stand for 20 minutes.

After the specified time has elapsed, carefully drain the water into the pan (you get about 2 liters) and boil the syrup for pouring:

  • add 600 g of sugar (for each liter of liquid - 300 g);
  • boil;
  • while stirring, boil for 2-3 minutes to dissolve the sugar.

Pour the peaches with hot syrup and roll up immediately. Turn the jar upside down, cover with a warm blanket and leave to cool completely.

Sterilized Natural Peach Drink

For those who cannot consume sugar due to chronic diseases, or who simply do not like sweet compotes, the method of preservation using sterilization is suitable.

Put the peeled peaches in a saucepan, pour 2 liters of water and boil for 5 minutes from the moment of boiling. Then carefully remove the peaches, put them in a jar and fill with the water in which they were cooked.

Place the container with the compote in a large saucepan with warm water, after placing an old towel on the bottom. Sterilize 15 minutes, roll up. The jar must also be turned over and wrapped so that it gradually cools down.

Peach pitted compote can be stored for no more than 1 year.
