Give schemes of color combinations in the flowerbed!
Of course, you can easily give a scheme for combining flowers in a flower bed - there are tens and hundreds of options of varying complexity and beauty. But here comes the difficulty - all these options will be standard. While they vary in color, size, shape, and a number of other factors, it is not certain that they will appeal to you. Therefore, it will be better to tell you about the basic rules to get a really beautiful flower bed that meets all your needs.
Thoughtful flower bed scheme
The work should begin with drawing up a suitable scheme. It depends on what kind of flower beds you want to get as a result. It can be a standard rectangle or circle, or it can be a complex exposition, for example, in the form of a butterfly, a clock, or a seven-color flower. To do this, you can use additional parts - barrels, wheelbarrows, old boxes, or you can refuse to use them.
In any case, before proceeding with the choice of colors, create on paper (or maybe on the ground) a scheme that you will bring to life.
Correctly selected flowers
The next step is choosing colors. Of course, don't forget about the color. But it is much more important about the height of the stems. In the very center, flowers with the longest stems should be planted. For the edges, creeping plants are better suited - they are quite numerous, so there will be no problems with their selection. Intermediates should be planted with medium-length flowers.
The number of intermediate sections depends on the size of the flower bed. The larger the site, the more there should be, so that there is no sharp drop and empty areas. Only in this case will the flowerbed show itself in all its glory.
Annuals or perennials?
Choosing perennial or annual plants is not an easy task. Both options have certain advantages:
- Annuals - you have to spend a lot of time, but every year you will receive a new composition;
- Long-term - much less time is spent on leaving, but every year the scheme will remain the same;
- Mixed - you spend a little time and effort on planting flowers, while having the opportunity to significantly change the appearance of the flower bed.
