Seedling urea - both fungicide and fertilizer
When young plants refuse to grow and sit in the ground for a long time, then mineral fertilizers come to the rescue. Seedling urea is a quick fix to a worrying problem. To improve the quality of the land, it began to be used in the 18th century. As a result, the yield of the fields increased several times. Today urea is produced in the form of granules, powder mixtures or tablets. It dissolves almost instantly in water.
Fertilizer is the most concentrated substance. It is used as a food additive, as a flavor enhancer.
Seedling urea
Top dressing is most often applied under the roots. However, some people use a prepared solution to spray on weakened foliage. In dissolved form, it does not harm deciduous plates. The standard dosage is 15-20 gr. on a bucket of water. For the rest, other "prices" are applied (for 10 liters):
- Herbaceous crops prepare a less concentrated suspension up to 10 grams.
- Trees need more saturated compositions. Large-fruited varieties that are more than 4-5 years old take a proportion of 200 grams, and small-fruited ones - 120 grams each.
- For shrubs like strawberries, raspberries, and also for strawberries you will need to prepare 50 gr. Plants are sprayed in late summer. Some agronomists carry out the procedure at the time of the ovary.
Urea is excellent at fighting scab, rust and spotting. Thus, urea is used for seedlings both as a fungicide and nitrogen-containing fertilizing. The chemical reduces the potential for pathogens to multiply.
It is important to make sure that the culture is deficient in nitrogen and not iron before use. This is evidenced by weak growth, thin stems and yellow leaves. The kidneys develop poorly and also slowly.
Among other things, if you add it in early spring, then powerful components will delay flowering for a week and a half, which is important in an unstable climate. Before treating the bed with a nutrient solution, you should spill the area in good faith. It is better to dilute the mineral in warm water.
Hidden flaws
With an overdose, seed germination drops significantly. It is worth remembering that the lethal dose is 300 g / 10 l. It is necessary to mix snow-white granules with phosphorus complexes only in dry form. Store the material in proper conditions. Due to the high humidity, it turns into lumps. Regular use of mineral fertilizers acidifies the soil. They solve the problem by adding limestone (800 grams of chalk per 1 kg of feeding).
Urea is successfully used in the cultivation of all vegetable crops, fruit and berry bushes and fruit trees. Urea is especially useful for seedlings.
