The Bosch ake 30 s chain saw and other models in the ake s range are designed for household, gardening and construction work. The range of electric saws consists of the following models:

Saw body and equipment
The model includes a housing with an electric motor, a bar, a chain and a cover with a system without tool chain tension. The tire length in the very first model is 300 mm. In other models, respectively, 450 and 600 mm.
The saw cover is equipped with a special ring handle. When assembling the tool, such a handle greatly facilitates the work.
The saw body is made of high quality plastic. A metal chain catcher is located on the side wall of the housing. If the links break, the chain hits the catcher and does not injure the operator.
The body also has two ergonomic handles. On the rear handle there are keys for starting the engine and blocking its operation. This is an additional security measure. To start the saw, you need to hold down two buttons.
Preparing the chain saw for work
After purchase, the saw must be assembled. For this, the tire is put on the body. In this case, the body protrusion must fall into one of the bus holes. Then a chain is installed on the bus.
Arrows are marked on the tool bar and chain links. Their direction must match. Otherwise, the chain will get stuck in the wood and the motor will fail.
To prevent the chain from damaging the tire, it must be continuously lubricated. A tank for engine oil is located on the body. Before work, it must be filled to the brim. A full tank is sufficient for approximately 20 minutes of operation. It all depends on the type of wood you will be sawing.
After installing the chain, close the tool cover. It is not completely screwed onto the bolts. Use a plastic handle to adjust the chain tension. The gap between the bar and the chain must be 2 mm. After adjusting the tension, the cap is tightened to the end.
After two months of operating the tool, clean the engine drive sprocket of oil and sawdust.
