If you add 700 g of carbamide to 10 liters of a half-percent solution of copper sulfate and treat the plants with this agent in early May, then you will disinfect and delay the blooming of flower buds for a week. This will allow you to wait out the spring frosts and carry out the first nitrogen fertilization, which means you get a good harvest.

For the preparation of a fungicidal solution, a coarse or fine powder is used. The crystals of the drug must be well dissolved in water.

What plants can not be treated with copper sulfate

Spring treatment with the drug is carried out for fruit trees, strawberries and blueberry... Such plants are not treated with a solution of copper sulfate:

  • chokeberry;
  • irgu;
  • viburnum;
  • gooseberry varieties "black negus";
  • honeysuckle;
  • blackberries.

These berry bushes have strong immunity, so they are not prone to rot and viral diseases.
