You need to harvest the vine in early spring or late autumn.

The fence is made either from freshly cut vines or from dried ones. But if a dried vine is used, then before use it is soaked in hot water so that the branches are pliable and soft. They are very decorative and unusual. True, it will take years to install such a fence. But it's worth it. How to make a wicker fence from live plants? Not difficult.

In early spring, an even groove is dug in the soil, where willow twigs are planted at a distance of 50-70 cm - 4-6 rods in one hole. They are connected with wire cells - 2-3 on one side, and the same amount on the other side. Then the twigs are crossed.
