That is why people have long been harvesting this berry for long-term storage, for example, in the form of a tincture. Moderate and regular use of the proposed tincture (see recipe below) will not only add mood, but also strengthen the heart and stomach.

Selection of ingredients and preparation steps:

  1. Take 2 liters. irgi.
  2. Divide in equal parts irgu into 2 parts (for 2 different types of tincture).
  3. Irga is poured into 3-liter jars.
  4. A glass of black currant is added to one jar, red to the second.
  5. The berries are kneaded so that the juice comes out and the taste intensifies.
  6. 1 liter is poured (40% moonshine, vodka or stirred alcohol).
  7. Close the tinctures with lids, mix well and sign (so that in a week you know what composition is in each jar).
  8. After a week - a month, cans with tincture are opened and the liquid part is drained through a sieve with gauze. Squeeze out of the remaining berries and add the remaining juice.

The longer the tincture of irgi is kept, the richer and richer the taste will be at the end.

The proposed tincture of irgi is infused - at least 1 week, maximum - 3 weeks, up to 1 month. You can pour it into glasses and try the tincture. This tincture of irgi is not prepared without added sugar.

Further, sugar syrup is added to the tincture - 50 g of sugar dissolved in 300 g of water. The tincture is kept for several more days.

Other ways to use irgi

You can cook from berries - compotes, preserves, jelly, juice (the juice is prepared only 3 - 4 days after it has been collected, so that the berry would give juice), tinctures. The most important thing is that the irga is very tasty and healthy fresh.
