Acquaintance with the IE-1035 drill. E-1 U2 and its modifications
Electric drill IE-1035. E-1 U2 is designed for drilling holes with a diameter of 3 to 16 mm in such strong materials as metal, concrete or asphalt. On the basis of this electric drill, a model with an internal cone was developed, as well as a tool with a more powerful gearbox and the possibility of reversible drilling.
Drill IE-1035. E-1 U2 and its modifications are manufactured at the Rostov Power Tool Plant. It consists of an electrical part, reliably protected by a shockproof plastic housing, and a two-stage metal gearbox. Let's consider the device of the power tool in more detail.
Gearbox device
Reducer housing electric drills completely made of 20 mm stainless steel. Inside the gearbox there are two metal gears that rotate the working element and the chuck. The reducer is lubricated at the factory, additional lubrication of the gears is not required during the 5-year warranty period.

Drills with a tapered shank from 3 to 16 mm are installed in the inner cone. Also in the cone of this modification, you can install a nozzle for mixing concrete. There are special holes on the side walls of the gearbox. They serve to make it easier to remove the drill.
Electrical device
Inside the plastic housing there is a starter and a copper-wound rotor. The starter is housed in a plastic cover that protects it from knocks during operation. The rotor bears the main load. The rotor of the IE-1035 modification. E-3 U2 has a reverse drilling function. The gearbox performs a shock-absorbing function and softens the vibration of the drill during operation.
On the rear handle of the drill there is an engine start button that responds to pressing force. The rotation speed can be adjusted using the switch located above the start button.
Specifications
The drill has a 1 kW motor, which makes the tool powerful enough to drill a metal bar 50 mm thick. The drill is also equipped with mechanical breakage protection. The maximum drilling diameter for metal is 13 mm, for wood - 16 mm. On the side panel of the electric drill there is a permanent operation button. Thanks to the compact size of the gearbox, the drill can be mounted on a work stand.
