The saturation of the white color increases towards the tip, which gives the aspidistra curtain a unique look. Interestingly, the aspidistra in the photo retains its variegated color only in winter, and at home it manifests itself only when planted in a large container.

Sometimes the variety of aspidistra shown in the photo is called "improved Asahi". True, the plants are very similar, but in this variety, the white pattern is much broader and more noticeable, and it persists throughout the year.
As with the already described variety, in this case you will also have to wait until the plant is ripe in order to please the owner with non-melting, “snow caps”.
Aspidistra elatior Sekko Kan
The stunning variety of aspidistra in the photo stands out with dark green leaves with wide white stripes. Translated from Japanese, the name Sekko Kan means "snow-white crown". Indeed, this almost white aspidistra seems to glow in the shade. But the full bloom of the beauty of the plant will have to wait at least three years. Only an adult specimen forms characteristically colored foliage with a height of 60 to 70 cm.
