But in the summer it is not possible to wander to the country house and back to the city every day - at best, on weekends. In hot weather, watering alone is not enough - the plants will die. The wife spends the whole summer at the dacha, but, fiddling with the children, she has no time (and no desire) to leave. The main advantage of this solution is cost effectiveness. Water does not spray over the site, partly evaporating, partly getting between the beds, where it goes into the ground, without bringing the slightest benefit. Instead, it is fed precisely to the plant roots, absorbing almost completely.

Another important advantage is the ability to water at any time of the day - morning, afternoon or evening. There is no need to be afraid that water will get on the foliage of plants on a hot day and damage them due to the bright sun.

System installation

Everything you need to install the system drip irrigation, these are several pipes of different diameters (depending on the size of the garden), the corresponding number of valves, a fine filter and a container for collecting water.

Before starting work, you need to draw up a detailed plan, having decided in advance where and which beds will be located. After calculating the required amount of materials, purchase it.

The barrel must be placed on a platform - its height must be at least 1-1.5 meters in order to provide a suitable head.

From the barrel there is a large-diameter pipe that runs along all the beds to the end of the garden. The end of the pipe should be plugged.

Hoses or small diameter pipes with pre-drilled holes are connected to the main pipe using the start connector on the side. The end of pipes or hoses is also sealed or welded securely to avoid water loss.

That's all. Now all you have to do is turn on the water tap so that all your beds get enough moisture.
