The capacity for the future composition is selected based on the design. The more space, the more interesting the design. The main rule is that the vessel is at least 15 cm high.

- homemade concrete bowls;

There are no requirements for the shape of the container, except for the presence of drainage holes (or the ability to make them).

For this option, you will need a container in the form of a large pot or wooden tub, soil, decorative elements in accordance with the chosen style and theme:
- A sketch is made on paper with a drawing of all the decor elements and the location of the vegetation.
- The bottom is covered with a drainage layer: fine gravel, pebbles, expanded clay.
- The pot is filled with soil suitable for the selected plants. To give additional looseness and protect flowers from an excess of moisture, the soil is mixed with vermiculite.
- In the presence of large decorative elements, they are first installed in their places, and then the flowers are planted. If a reservoir is provided, a separate recess is dug under it and a container with water, foil or mirror mosaic is inserted.
- Plants are planted in accordance with the sketch. They can be placed directly in the ground, or in separate pots buried in the soil. The second option allows you to combine plants with different watering requirements and replace them if necessary.
- The top layer of the earth is decorated with sand, pebbles, artificial paths, moss. An additional plus will be protection against weed germination.
- The remaining elements and figures are installed.
