Preparation of ingredients

To make juice you will need:

As for the oranges, use a juicer to squeeze the juice out of them. In addition, cover the peels of 1-2 oranges with sugar (4 tbsp. L.), Add 1 tbsp. l. water and caramelize. They will give the juice a brighter citrus aroma and flavor.

Pour freshly squeezed orange juice into the cooled toasted crusts, heat the whole mass a little to dissolve the sugar.

How to combine ingredients correctly

The further process of making juice is as follows:

  1. Grind the boiled pumpkin pulp in a blender, putting half the pumpkin volume into the bowl, and top up with the same amount of water in which the pumpkin was cooked. This is necessary so that the chopped pulp is not very thick.
  2. Rub the mass through a sieve until homogeneous and pour into a saucepan.
  3. Strain the orange juice, discard the crusts and add the juice itself to the pan to the pumpkin blank.
  4. Add sugar.
  5. Bring the juice to a boil, stirring occasionally, and remove the froth. Boil for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour into jars and seal.
