Homemade boiler 50 liters
In order to make a boiler from a gas cylinder, you will need a heater. In factory water heaters, polyurethane foam is used, but other heaters can also be used. You will also need a set of tools:
- Bulgarian;

- welding machine;
- wrench 12 mm;
- polyurethane foam.
To assemble the boiler heating system, use:
- a pipe for hot water supply with a diameter of 20 mm;
- barometer for measuring internal pressure in the boiler;
- ten, with a power of 1200W;
- pipe for cold water supply with a diameter of 32 mm.
To assemble the case you will need:
- gas cylinder with a volume of 50 liters;
- metal corners for mounting the boiler on the wall;
- bars 2 mm thick;
- Teng thread;
- protective cap made of steel or other durable material.
Strapping system boiler consists of shut-off valves for cold and hot water supply, one check valve and an adapter for polypropylene or metal-plastic pipes. This piping system will be one-piece, but you can also use a collapsible piping by connecting the water supply pipes with boiler with the help of American women.
Assembling the case
It is necessary to cut the neck of the gas cylinder, and in its place weld the thread under the heating element. Further, in the bottom of the cylinder, two holes are made for hot and cold water outlets.
Pipes of different lengths are cut. The section of the hot water supply pipe must be several centimeters shorter than the height of the cylinder in order to take hot water from the very top of the boiler. To supply cold water to the boiler, it is enough to take a pipe several centimeters long.
A hole is cut out in the side surface of the cylinder for a barometer, it is carefully sealed with polyurethane foam.
Pipes are welded into the body. Corners are also welded onto the cylinder so that you can install the finished boiler on the wall.
Further, all welding places are foamed. The body is insulated by wrapping it with heat-insulating material. It can be secured with tape.
You need to wrap the gas cylinder twice, after putting the bars on the first layer of insulation and foaming the space between them.
This will minimize the air gap. The lid and bottom of a homemade boiler can be insulated with foam rubber to avoid large heat losses.
A thin sheet of galvanized steel can be used to protect the boiler. The water heater is sold at any hardware store. To soften water, buy a heating element with a magnesium anode.
