Assembling a frame pool at a summer cottage
A frame pool is ideal for a small suburban area. It is compact, but at the same time, its volume is large enough for comfortable swimming for three people.
The body of such a pool is durable, so it will not be damaged by pets. Due to the fact that the bowl is installed on high supports, animals will not be able to climb into the pool.
The filtration system is installed next to the bowl. It cleans the pool water and makes it clear.
However, the frame pool is time consuming to assemble and maintain. Let's take a look at the assembly process and how to keep the bowl of water clean.
Pool equipment
Together with by the pool plastic supports are supplied to be installed on a level surface. The body of the pool consists of a metal mesh, sheathed with a waterproof film on both sides and a plastic frame hoop into which the supports are screwed.
The supports, in turn, consist of round supports and plastic tubular legs. Collecting them is not difficult.
When the main part of the frame body is assembled, you can start connecting the pump with a filter. This requires:
- Arrange pump next to the body from the side of the lettering marking.
- Connect the pool inlet to the corresponding opening on the pump using a hose. If you are using the pump that comes with the bowl to fill the pool, both of these holes will be marked with the letter "A". If you use a different pump, connect it to the pool in accordance with the instructions for use.
- Connect the pump outlet to the pool outlet. Both of these holes are marked with the letter "B".
The main part of the pool is assembled. It remains only to connect the ladder to the bowl and turn on the pump.
Before starting the pump, drain all air from the pump and fill the housing with water, otherwise the pump motor will burn out.
Pool maintenance
To clean the pool, you need to purchase a special water vacuum cleaner for cleaning the bottom. It is connected to the pool intake. Before each bathing, insects and small debris that got into the pool are removed from the surface of the water.
Use a float with chlorine tablets to disinfect water, and algaecide to remove algae from the water. Its concentration depends on the area of the pool.
Before using the drug, read its instructions. The butt seams between the pool walls and the bottom should be treated especially carefully before filling the bowl.
