Raspberries grew like wild for a long time, very densely, more than 2 meters high, but there were berries on it. I cut off the tops and cut out the old stems. What should be done to increase its yield? Do I need to feed it with something in the fall and needs something Is raspberry in mulching? We have sawdust, but I’m afraid that they will pull out all the nitrogen from the soil, and in the fall, after all, nitrogen fertilizers cannot be applied. Or is it enough to cut off and fertilize in the spring? Do I need to treat with something for diseases?

If raspberries have not been fertilized for a long time, now you can add compost and ash to the soil, and then dig it up shallowly. From mineral fertilizers, 60 g of superphosphate and 40 g of potassium salt can be added under each bush (step back 30 cm from the bush and dig a shallow groove, where to pour fertilizers). Such feeding stimulates the laying of flower buds, which means it will increase the yield.
As for the treatment for diseases, if there were no signs of disease on the bushes, unnecessary processing is not necessary. It is better to mulch raspberries with sawdust in spring.
