In my summer cottage along the garden I have blueberry growing... Last year, I noticed that the leaves on the bushes began to turn red. A friend advised me to feed them with Florovit. Tell me how to properly apply Florovit fertilizer for blueberries in the garden?

Fertilizer Florovit, intended for blueberries, contains a whole complex of trace elements necessary for the active development of the plant. It is produced in the form of granules, which dissolve well in the soil, and is used for root dressing. The blueberry is very demanding on the composition of the soil, with high acidity the plant gives few young shoots, and the leaves turn yellow and crumble ahead of time. However, its low level has a negative effect on plantings - deciduous leaves begin to acquire a red tint. Fertilizer Florovit was created specifically to avoid this situation. The preparation evens out the acidity of the soil, acidifies it if necessary and creates ideal growing conditions for blueberries.

The fertilizer contains microelements in a form that prevents their rapid leaching.

Features of using the drug

florovite

In the garden and in the garden Florovit is used to fertilize blueberries by directly adding the drug to the soil. During the growing season, fertilizer must be applied 3 times with a break of 1 month. Carry out the first feeding in April. Sprinkle the granules around the blueberry bushes, carefully embed them in the soil and water liberally. The application rate in the first year of cultivation is 20 mg of the drug per 1 sq. m. In subsequent years, for feeding, the rate should be increased by 1.5 times (up to 35 g).

It is recommended to fertilize young seedlings no earlier than two weeks after planting.

The last seasonal feeding must be done no later than mid-June (before the 15th). Otherwise, the shoots will not have time to mature before the onset of winter. If the blueberries are fertilized after the specified period, the bushes will actively grow, releasing more and more young branches, which will still freeze in winter. In addition, a weakened bush may completely die and not survive the winter.

Drug action

As a result of using Florovit in blueberry cultivation:

  • the soil is saturated with nutrients;
  • blueberry seedlings take root better after transplanting;
  • in plants, general growth processes and development of the root system are activated;
  • the formation of ovaries and ripening of berries is accelerated;
  • the yield of blueberries increases;
  • increased resistance to diseases;
  • plantings are easier to tolerate adverse weather conditions such as drought.

Florovit is absolutely safe for the environment and humans and does not contain harmful impurities.
