How to make a flower bed out of bottles?

Having decided to make a flower bed on your own, you should take care of the availability of a sufficient number of bottles. It does not matter what was in them before. A flower garden from bottles of soda water or beer and vegetable oil looks equally beautiful.

The container capacity also does not really matter. When creating a flower garden, you can use absolutely all bottles:

• small (up to 1.5 l) can be used for zoning space and making individual elements;
• large (5 - 6 l) can be used as a separate small flower bed in the form of an animal.

You will also need a special tool. It is worth taking care of the availability:

• Sharp scissors and a knife. With their help, you can cut out elements of the desired shape and size;
• Stapler for connecting various elements to each other;
• A quality cord, often used to connect bottles to each other;
• Sheela;
• A sheet of paper;
• Pencil;
• Erasers;
• Rulers.

Before proceeding with the direct manufacture of a flower garden, you should first carefully study the sketch. The swan's neck can be made from a piece of thick wire, bending it into a characteristic shape, and gluing it over with pieces of a plastic bottle, thereby imitating plumage. The soil can be poured directly into the "body" of the swan, i.e. a five-liter bottle, or in special flowerpots, which can then be installed there.

For those who find the swan overly complex, the piglets may be appealing. One large bottle is enough to make them. By cutting out a hole for the ground, ears and a tail can be made from the samples. The inside of the bottle must be covered with pink paint. The bottle cap is a piglet's heel. You just need to paint on the characteristic lines and put two points. Also, don't forget about the eyes. They can be drawn in black. If desired, you can provide small legs from small bottles. That's it, the flowerbed is ready: you can plant flowers.

Benefits of bottle beds

In addition to reducing the negative impact on the environment, one can also note:

• Long service life of such a flower garden due to the durability of the material used in its manufacture. This is especially true when growing perennial plants. A plastic bottle fence will not allow plant roots to grow beyond the flower bed;
• The ability to prevent excessive drying out of the earth;
• The ability to replace individual elements of the flower bed in case of damage to one of them.
